Rust Oleum Epoxy Shield Floor Cleaner and Degreaser

The Rust-Oleum EpoxyShield Cleaner and Degreaser is a concentrated alkaline solution designed for deep cleaning and degreasing floors and other industrial substrates before coating or maintenance work.

Formulated to remove grease, oil, proteins, dirt, and a wide range of surface contaminants, it is suitable for use on coated, mineral, and steel substrates. The virtually odour-free, non-flammable formula makes it practical for use in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces where solvent-based alternatives would be unsuitable.

Application is straightforward — use an artificial sponge, cloth, or stiff nylon brush or broom to work the solution across the surface. It can also be added directly to high-pressure or steam cleaning equipment, making it a versatile option for both manual and mechanical cleaning operations.

With a theoretical coverage rate of 6–8 m² per litre and a very low VOC content of just 9 g/l, this product is well suited to preparation work ahead of epoxy floor coating applications, as well as routine maintenance cleaning of workshop, garage, and industrial floor surfaces.
