Rust Oleum Hard Hat Transparent Spray Paint

The Rust-Oleum Hard Hat Transparent Topcoat 2500 is a clear acrylic aerosol spray designed to protect and seal painted surfaces with a durable, high-gloss finish.

Formulated on a fast-drying acrylic resin base, this transparent topcoat is non-yellowing, making it well suited for use over Rust-Oleum Hard Hat Fluorescent Topcoats 2200 and Metallic Topcoats 2100. It can also be used to restore the gloss of faded or aged coatings, giving older paintwork a refreshed, professional appearance.

This spray can be applied directly to a range of bare metals including aluminium, brass, bronze, chrome, and copper, without the need for a primer coat. It is intended for small maintenance tasks and touch-up work in light industrial environments, normal humidity conditions, and interior applications.

With a touch-dry time of just 15 minutes and a recoat window from one hour, it offers a practical solution for jobs where downtime needs to be kept to a minimum. Full hardness is achieved after three days, with heat resistance up to 100°C in dry conditions.
