Rustins Button Polish
Rustins Button Polish is a professional-grade shellac-based polish designed for French polishing wood where a more orange or golden tone is desired. This versatile finish is ideal for both creating a high-gloss surface on fine furniture and joinery, and for sealing wood before waxing. The alcohol-based formula evaporates rapidly, leaving a smooth film of shellac on the timber surface.
For French polishing applications, multiple coats can be applied to build sufficient layers of shellac, whilst for sealing purposes, two liberal coats are recommended. Available in a range of convenient sizes to suit different project requirements.
