Sealey CP18VLD 18v Cordless Combi Drill
The Sealey CP18VLD is a compact cordless combi drill that combines drilling, driving and hammer drilling capabilities in one versatile tool. Powered by an 18V 1.5Ah lithium-ion battery, this lightweight drill driver delivers superior performance compared to older Ni-Cd or Ni-MH battery technologies, making it ideal for electricians, joiners and general contractors who need reliable cordless power on site.
The 0.8-10mm keyless chuck accepts a wide range of drill and driver bits, whilst the hammer function adds light-duty masonry drilling to its capabilities. With drilling capacities of 20mm in wood, 10mm in metal and 10mm in concrete, this tool handles most day-to-day tasks with ease. The 2-speed gearbox (0-400/0-1500rpm) offers flexibility between high-torque applications and faster drilling operations.
Control and precision are enhanced through 21 torque settings, allowing accurate fastening without stripping screws or damaging materials. The integral LED worklight illuminates dark workspaces, whilst the LED battery level indicator prevents unexpected power loss mid-task. Forward, reverse and lock functions provide full control, and the metal belt clip offers secure storage between uses.
Supplied complete in a storage case with one 18V 1.5Ah battery and a 1-hour mains charger, this combi drill is ready to use straight from the box. The composite housing keeps the overall weight to just 2.3kg, reducing user fatigue during extended use.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
