Sealey PC400MA Wet and Dry Industrial M Class Vacuum Cleaner 40L
The Sealey PC400MA is a 40-litre wet and dry industrial vacuum cleaner certified to M Class standards, designed for tradespeople who need effective dust extraction and containment on professional worksites. This industrial vacuum filters particles down to 1 micron, minimising exposure to potentially harmful dust and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements for medium-risk dust applications.
The PC400MA features a 1400W power outlet and two quick release air fittings that enable automatic power tool synchronisation, turning the vacuum on and off when your power tool starts or stops. This provides hands-free operation during cutting, grinding, or drilling tasks. The self-cleaning function reverses airflow to restore suction by clearing the filter, whilst also allowing the unit to function as a blower when required.
Equipped with a shut-off valve, the vacuum switches between wet and dry applications using either the sponge filter for liquids or the HEPA filter for dry vacuuming. The 40-litre capacity plastic drum provides ample collection volume for extended work periods, whilst the 5m power cable and 2.5m suction hose deliver practical working range across site environments.
The comprehensive accessory kit includes two stainless steel extension tubes, washable M Class HEPA filter, M Class dust bag, foam filter, floor brush, round brush, and crevice tool, providing versatile cleaning options for different surfaces and tasks. Important Information about Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaners
The tank capacity quoted is usually quoted for dry vacuuming. Capacity when being used for wet vacuuming will be significantly less than when dry vacuuming. Always read both the wet and dry capacities separately if they are published so as to understand what the difference is.
If in doubt you will always need a larger capacity vacuum than the capacity shown in the title as this will be quoted for dry vacuuming only.
The reason for this reduced capacity is that the water level has to be kept well below the motor and thus the capacity is reduced.
