Machine will be fine now i have screwed a piece of wood onto the face of the plastic mitre guide which was very distorted and sanded it square using the disc of course
The build and quality of the sealey 12" disc sander is excellent with one important exception - the plastic mitre gauge which not only flexes, but was so distorted a tapered packing piece had to be attached to provide the correct vertical right angle required. This component was was an insult on an otherwise superbly solid and well crafted machine.
the sealey 12"disc sander full fills its purpose & suits my requirements well quality at a low price definatley one for the workshop. highly recommended
