Sealey SMS216 Double Sliding Compound Mitre Saw 216mm

The Sealey SMS216 is a double sliding compound mitre saw with a 216mm blade, designed for precision cutting in wood, metal and composite materials. Powered by a robust 1450W motor, this versatile saw delivers accurate crosscuts, mitre cuts and bevel cuts for joinery, carpentry and general construction work.

The sliding mechanism provides a maximum crosscut capacity of 310mm at 0° bevel, whilst the compound cutting action combines mitre and bevel adjustments for complex angled cuts. An integrated laser guide ensures accurate cut placement, whilst positive locking mitre stops at 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 31.6° and 45° (left and right) provide quick setup for common angles used in skirting, architrave and crown moulding installation.

Supplied with a 24-tooth TCT blade suitable for fresh timber, the saw can be upgraded with the optional SMS216B multipurpose blade for cutting mild steel, aluminium and wood containing nails. Practical features include integral workpiece supports that store within the aluminium base to prevent loss, a dust extraction port (36mm ID/40mm OD) for cleaner operation, and a carry handle for site portability.

The included workpiece clamp secures material during cutting, whilst the dust extraction bag captures debris. This combination of capacity, versatility and precision makes the SMS216 ideal for joiners, carpenters and contractors requiring a dependable workshop or site saw.
