Only used the equipment once but seems a handy tool
The tip of the soldering iron did not like sustained use and disintegrated. It was being used to solder stained glass. the service and follow-up has been faultless, however.
My purchase arrived quickly by post, and just picking it up i knew it was made for the job, it was heavy, and felt right, it heats quickly, and the solder just flows onto the job. The free stand was a bit flimsy, but i stiffened it by soldering a piece of copper across the angle (just hope the heat does not melt it again).
This product works well and it is reliable.
