The broad blade of the tape measure makes it easy to measure high room heights and distances over openings/gaps of up to 3.5-4.0m.
A bit of a big lump (well, a 32mm wide tape has to be) but indispensable when needing to measure a wide space on your own. outstand is about as stanley claim - around 3.5 metres.
Really good measuring tape. very easy to use and the numbers are very clear on the tape . really good
