Stanley Fatmax V20 SFMCV002 18v Cordless Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner 7.5L
The Stanley FatMax V20 Cordless wet & dry vacuum cleaner features a powerful motor for effective and efficient clean-up of wet and dry spills, as well as a HEPA grade filter to capture 99.7% of all dust and allergens for a cleaner, healthier work environment. The 2.4 metre hose gives plenty of reach for freedom of movement when connected to the dust ports on power tools or when tidying up the work site, and the vacuum features integrated storage for the hose and accesories so you can keep everything neatly stored on the machine in between uses. The vacuum has a tank capacity of 7.5 litres and is supplied with a floor tool and a crevice nozzle.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
Stanley V20 Battery System
The Stanley V20 Li-ion System is a range of 18v tools where all 18v batteries of all ah ratings fit all tools, allowing you to buy just a few batteries but as many of the range of bare tools that you need without the expense of a new batteries and chargers each time.
Important Information about Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaners
The tank capacity quoted is usually quoted for dry vacuuming. Capacity when being used for wet vacuuming will be significantly less than when dry vacuuming. Always read both the wet and dry capacities separately if they are published so as to understand what the difference is.
If in doubt you will always need a larger capacity vacuum than the capacity shown in the title as this will be quoted for dry vacuuming only.
The reason for this reduced capacity is that the water level has to be kept well below the motor and thus the capacity is reduced.
