Steinel MH 5 18v CAS Cordless Professional Hot Air Heat Gun
From the Steinel Professional range, the MH 5 is a cordless heat gun which is part of the CAS (Cordless Alliance System) and can be powered by any 18v CAS battery.
The Cordless Alliance System means that contractors and other professional users can work without needing to plug into an electrical supply: with a cross-brand compatibility which is shared by 24 industry leaders in the professional power tools sector, a CAS battery can be used to power more than 230 different tools and helps to make the cordless jobsite more convenient than ever.
The MH 5 uses a new operating principle: to ensure maximum effectiveness, the tool heats up first, then the blower is activated. As a result, Steinel's patented technology gives the user 300°C of heat in less than 4 seconds. Temperature and airflow can both be adjusted, with six airflow rates and a temperature range of 50°C to 500°C. An integrated LED worklight at the base of the tool provides illumination of the workpiece and a security lock button is provided for safety.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
