Steinel MOBILEGLUE 3011 18v PowerForAll Cordless Glue Gun
Being able to use a single rechargeable battery across a range of tools from different manfacturers helps to conserve resources and save costs - in addition, it is much more convenient for the end user. For this reason, Steinel have joined the 18v PowerForAll Alliance and now offer DIY grade cordless tools which will run on any 18v PowerForAll battery. The 18v PowerForAll Alliance is an expanding cross-brand partnership which encompasses a complete range of cordless tools for the home and garden, based on tried and tested lithium ion battery technology.
Being battery powered, the MobileGlue 3011 can therefore be used conveniently in a wide variety of environments. It has two temperature settings - 130°C and 200°C, combined with a high flow rate of 20 g/min. An optional ECO mode enables the battery runtime to be extended for longer continuous working when full power is not required.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
Cordless Alliance System (CAS)
The Cordless Alliance System (CAS) is a range of tools from various manufacturers you can buy knowing that the batteries are compatible with all tools from all manufacturers providing they are of the same voltage.
CAS has many advantages not least the fact that once you have a tool with a few batteries then there is no need to buy the more expensive versions with battery & charger, you can just go ahead & buy the much cheaper no battery versions!
So remember CAS signifies complete battery compatibility throughout the range of all manufacturers who sell CAS Battery Tools.
