Trend Adjustable Lock Jig

The Trend Adjustable Lock Jig is a precision woodworking jig designed for routing mortice locks and latches into wooden doors, accommodating faceplates from 30mm up to 250mm long.

Its infinitely adjustable sliding plates and stops make it equally suited to standard locks and latches as well as obscure or non-standard sized locks. This adaptability makes it particularly valuable when fitting mortice positions for multi-point lock strips, where precise, repeatable positioning is essential.

The jig is engraved on the underside with markings for common UK door widths of 35mm, 40mm, 44mm, and 54mm, allowing fast and accurate set-up on site. It is designed for use with a ½in capacity router fitted with an 80mm plunge capacity, a 30mm guidebush, and a 12mm cutter.

With its adaptable sliding plate and stop adjustments, the jig is also compatible with different guidebush diameters and straight cutters, making it suitable for general mortice work across a range of construction projects.
