Trend Airshield Pro Respirator
The Trend Airshield Pro is a battery-powered powered air respirator (PAPR) designed for professional woodworking applications, offering reliable respiratory and eye protection in dusty workshop environments.
Approved to BS EN 12941 TH2P-S and EN166, the Airshield Pro carries an Assigned Protection Factor of APF20 — a higher level of protection than standard APF10 units. Its twin filters achieve 98% efficiency, making it particularly suitable for high-risk tasks such as machining MDF, where fine respirable dust presents a significant COSHH risk.
The unit features a combination face-seal and hood design to maximise protection, with the motor positioned away from the forehead to minimise noise and reduce wearer fatigue during extended use. The optical class 1B3 visor provides protection against high-speed particles, medium energy impacts, liquid droplets, and splashes, making this a versatile choice across a range of woodworking operations.
The removable 8-hour Ni-MH battery supports a full working day, with an audible low battery warning to alert the user before power is exhausted. A COSHH Maintenance and Examination Record is included, supporting workplace compliance requirements. This unit is supplied with a UK plug and is approved for sale in the UK and Eire only.
