Trend Aluminium UPVC Single Flute Narrow Neck Helical Cutter
The Trend Aluminium UPVC Single Flute Narrow Neck Helical Cutter is a specialist cutting tool engineered for precision routing of uPVC, aluminium, anodised aluminium, and duralumin on CNC machines. Designed to plunge and machine or mill lateral slots, these cutters are ideal for recessing and slotting extrusions in window and door fabrication environments.
The narrow extended neck profile allows the cutter to plunge through the top face for secondary cutting on webbed profiles — a critical advantage when working with complex extruded sections. The single flute helical up-cut geometry delivers a shearing action for fast waste clearance and exceptionally clean results.
Available in diameter cuts from 4mm to 8mm, all variants share an 8mm shank for increased support under load. Always use with a coolant, wax stick, or lubricant, and ensure material is securely clamped before use.
