The Trend CRAFTPRO Intumescent Recesser Bearing Guided Router Cutter is a precision-engineered tool designed for routing grooves in door edges and door frames to accommodate intumescent strip — a critical component in fire and smoke protection systems.
The bearing guide ensures consistent, accurate depth and width on every pass, helping tradespeople meet fire regulations with confidence. A PTFE coating minimises heat and resin build-up, extending cutter performance and longevity. The 1/2" shank is suited to heavy-duty work with larger routers, and the 'K'-mark shank meets safe working practice standards.
Available in cut lengths from 10mm to 20mm to suit a range of intumescent strip widths.
