Trend HSS Single Flute Straight Cut Router Cutter
The Trend HSS Single Flute Straight Cut Router Cutter is a solid High Speed Steel routing bit ground to a very fine edge, designed for clean, precise cutting in non-abrasive materials.
Manufactured from a single piece of HSS, this cutter delivers a superior finish in soft timbers where its finely ground edge can perform at its best. It is not suited to abrasive materials such as MDF or hardboard, but in appropriate softwood applications it offers a quality of cut that makes it a practical choice for joiners and woodworkers.
The single flute design, combined with an extra long shank, provides good chip clearance and extended reach into workpieces. HSS cutters of this type are generally a cost-effective alternative to tungsten carbide grades and remain well suited to specific applications where the material allows.
