Trend RBT/4 Routabout Jig for 22mm Floors

The Trend RBT/4 Routabout Jig is a specialist routing jig designed to provide fast, clean access to pipes and cables beneath 22mm chipboard floors — an essential tool for builders, plumbers, and electricians working on both new builds and existing properties.

Using a standard plunge router (750W or above), the jig enables a precise 250mm diameter opening to be cut quickly and cleanly through the floor. Because the cut-out piece is retained and used to reinstate the floor, there is zero waste and no need for patch materials.

The system is designed to cut only the thickness of the board, eliminating the risk of damaging pipes or cables below. Three spacer rings are supplied to accommodate variations in floor construction, and a 30mm plastic guide bush and specialist TCT cutter are included in the kit.

Suitable for use with most plunge routers, though a Unibase adapter may be required for certain makes and models. Ideal for any trade professional who regularly needs sub-floor access without causing lasting damage to the floor surface.
