Trend Template Shelf Support 32Mm Centre

The Trend Template Shelf Support 32mm Centre is a precision routing and drilling jig designed for accurately positioning 5mm diameter shelf support holes on the 32mm system used widely in cabinet and furniture making.

Constructed from clear plastic for easy alignment, the template features an adjustable clamping bar with two locking knobs to secure it firmly to the workpiece. Holes can be positioned anywhere from 10mm to 64mm from the edge of the board, giving flexibility across a range of shelf unit configurations.

The template is suitable for use with a router and guide bush or with a power drill, making it a versatile addition to any carpenter's or joiner's toolkit. When used with a router, a 5mm TCT dowel drill (Ref. 61/05 or C174) is required, along with two clamps. For drill use, the compatible quick release 5mm shelf support drill bit guide (Ref. SNAP/SS/5MM or TEMP/SSD/5MM) accepts a lip and spur drill for clean blind holes.

Ideal for installing shelf supports into existing cabinet carcasses or for setting out user-made shelving units from scratch, the index lines make repositioning the template along a board quick and consistent. The kit includes twelve plain metal shelf supports, an alloy knurled index pin, and a 9.5mm guide bush to get you started straight away.
