Trend Two Flute Hinge Recess Router Cutter
The Trend Two Flute Hinge Recess Router Cutter is a precision-engineered tungsten carbide (TC) cutter designed to make clean, accurate recess cuts with ease. Whether you're fitting door hinges or undertaking similar joinery tasks, this cutter delivers consistent, reliable results time after time.
The two-flute design provides excellent chip clearance, helping to keep the cutting zone clean and reducing the risk of heat build-up during use. It is particularly well suited to shallow lateral routing cuts, making it an ideal choice for hinge recessing and comparable applications.
Please note that the square corners of any recess will require final trimming with a hand chisel or corner chisel after routing. Available with a 1/4" shank and in cutting diameters ranging from 12.7mm to 19.1mm to suit a variety of hinge sizes.
