Trend Two Flute Hinge Recess Router Cutter
This Trend Two Flute Hinge Recess Router Cutter features a 12.7mm (1/2") cutting diameter, making it an excellent choice for smaller hinges and compact fittings where precision and control are essential. Its narrower profile allows for accurate recessing without removing excess material.
The two-flute tungsten carbide construction provides reliable chip clearance, ensuring a clean cutting action during shallow lateral passes. This makes it particularly effective for hinge recessing in joinery and cabinet-making applications. As with all hinge recess routing, square corners will need to be finished with a hand chisel or corner chisel once routing is complete.
