Tyzack Archaeology Trowel

The Tyzack Archaeology Trowel is a specialist pointing trowel designed for precise excavation work, favoured by professional archaeologists and serious excavation enthusiasts alike.

Forged from high-quality carbon steel, the blade delivers excellent rigidity and a sharp, durable edge capable of making clean, accurate cuts through compacted soil and clay. The extra thick blade construction adds resilience for extended fieldwork, helping the tool maintain its edge and shape over time.

The narrow blade profile is well suited to working in confined spaces where precision matters, allowing careful excavation around artefacts without causing damage. A high tang provides good knuckle clearance, while the integral finger guard adds an additional layer of comfort and control during prolonged use.

The ergonomic soft-feel, non-slip handle reduces hand fatigue during extended sessions, giving users confident grip and balanced control throughout the dig.
