Vitax SBK Brushwood Killer

Vitax SBK Brushwood Killer is a selective weedkiller specifically formulated to tackle tough woody weeds whilst leaving grass unharmed. This professional-grade herbicide targets brambles, nettles, dock, woody weeds, hardwood saplings and tree stumps in grass and neglected non-crop areas, making it ideal for reclaiming overgrown land and maintaining rights of way.

The active ingredient, Triclopyr, is exceptionally effective on woody plants and is widely used for brush control and defoliation of wooded areas. It also works well against stubborn broadleaf weeds, particularly Creeping Charlie. Available in sizes from 125ml to 1 litre to suit jobs of all scales.

For optimal results, apply between May and October when soil is moist and weeds are actively growing. Woody weeds respond best to treatment between June and August, whilst tree stumps should be treated in Autumn or Winter, avoiding the sap-rising period from April to June.
