Petrol Engines
It is important to read all instructions regarding petrol products. 4 Stroke engines require oil and some machines are supplied dry (No oil to start with). Running a 4 stroke petrol machine without oil will result in the engine seizing and is not covered under warranty.
2 Stroke engines will need to have a mix of oil in the petrol this is normally 1 part oil to 50 parts petrol but not always, again please read the instructions supplied with your machine. Petrol engines do require more maintenance than electric engines but if reguarly maintained they will normally give many years of use.

Grand machine. My only fault I find is that it is just that bit too fast for comfort when using AUTO. Apart from that, I have no other fault with this mower. I am really pleased I spent a few more pound for the performance and satisfaction this has given me, especially the electronic starter feature. Solved all my health problems concerning my back pains. Dave

Easy to ensemble out of the box. The electric start is great. Got two lawns and this cuts fine, takes half has long to cut with this mower, than my old one, great mower

Q : Could you please advise me of the Width of mower between wheels (not the 46cm cut) ?. I need to confirm if i can fit it into my plastic shed? Max 22" width
A : Hi Edward, I'm afraid this is not something we have in stock and these are not specifications we've been provided with. If you look at the images on our product page there is one which shows the blade (46cm) underneath the mower and this might give you a rough idea... however I wouldn't like to call it as seems it will be a tight fit! You might want to try contacting Webb directly to see if they're able to confirm the size?
Q : Is the electric-start battery removable or does the mower need to be close to a power point for recharging?
A : Hi Philip, the battery is removable and a separate charger is included for charging it, so you don't need to drag the whole mower to the nearest power socket. The manual is available to download at the bottom of the product page on our website which provides more information if you need it.
Q : Dose it come with oil If not what oil do I use
A : The Webb WER460ES is not supplied with oil but the manual states: "This product is a 4-stroke engine powered machine. The engine MUST be filled with recommended 4-stroke SAE30 or 10W/30 air cooled lawnmower engine oil BEFORE starting. Fresh unleaded petrol must be used in this unit. DO NOT use Ethanol based fuels. DO NOT mix oil with fuel." The manual is available to download on the product page on our website if you need more information, and we do stock suitable oil for use with this machine - for example the ALM 4 Stroke SAE30 oil on product ID 20988295 (also listed as a suitable accessory for this lawnmower on our website)

A : I'm afraid we don't stock these kinds of replacement parts but if you go onto the Webb Garden Power website, they have a Service & Support section where you will be able to make enquiries as to availability

This product carries a full 2 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables.
