The Wera 780C/2 is a 1/2" square drive to 5/16" hex screwdriver bit holder, designed to allow the use of hexagonal drive bits via a standard 1/2" square drive socket tool.

This adaptor bridges the gap between 1/2" square drive ratchets, breaker bars, and torque wrenches and the widely used 5/16" hex bit format, conforming to DIN ISO 1173-C 8.
