The Wera 7880 Joker L Spanner Insert is a self-setting insert spanner designed for use with Wera Click-Torque X and XP series torque wrenches fitted with a 14x18 mm mounting. It is engineered to replace multiple individual spanner sizes, covering all metric and imperial dimensions within its application range.

The key advantage of the Joker L lies in its continuously adjustable, parallel jaws, which automatically grip the hexagonal bolt or screw head as the tool is applied. An integrated lever mechanism then clamps the fastener securely in place, significantly reducing the risk of slippage or damage to the fastener — particularly valuable in precision torque applications where control is critical.

A built-in mechanical ratchet function allows fast, consistent tightening without removing the tool from the fastener between strokes.
