The Wera 6004 Joker VDE Insulated Self Setting Adjustable Spanner is an individually tested, VDE-compliant tool built for safe electrical work, tested to 10,000 V as per IEC 60900 and approved for use at up to 1,000 V. Its self-setting jaw mechanism continuously and automatically grips all hexagonal fasteners — both metric and imperial — within the tool's indicated range, eliminating the need for manual adjustment.

An integrated lever mechanism locks the jaws securely around the screw or bolt head the moment you apply torque, dramatically reducing the risk of slippage or fastener damage. The built-in mechanical ratchet function allows fast, consistent tightening and loosening without removing the spanner from the fastener, while the corner-width rectangular prisms in the jaw enable a return angle of just 30° — making it highly effective in confined spaces.

The 2-component plastic insulated handle provides a naturally comfortable, anti-slip grip, with a sliding function for contactless, safe opening of the non-insulated jaws. Available in sizes from 120mm to 225mm to suit a range of applications.
