The Wera Kraftform Kompakt 23 Piece VDE Insulated Safe-Torque Speed Control Cabinet Screwdriver Set is a precision VDE-rated screwdriver system designed for electricians and panel engineers working on control cabinet installations where accurate torque control is essential.

At the heart of this set are two Safe-Torque Speed torque wrenches — the 7508 VDE (0.4–2.0 Nm) and the 7516 VDE (2.4–4.0 Nm) — each offering five selectable maximum tightening torques displayed via a digital readout. A reliable slip-over mechanism prevents overtightening when the pre-set torque is reached, and the Torque Lock function allows the handle to be used for high-effort loosening and tightening without engaging the torque-limiting mechanism.

All tools in the set are individually tested to IEC 60900, providing the assurance required when working on live or potentially live electrical equipment. The 817 VDE blade-holding handle gives additional versatility for tasks where torque control is not required.

The 20 included VDE blades — each 157 mm in length — cover a comprehensive range of drive types including Phillips, Pozidrive, slotted, TORX®, and hex profiles. Colour coding by drive type and laser-engraved size markings make blade identification fast and accurate. Many blades feature a reduced-diameter shank to access recessed screws and spring-clip terminals in tight control cabinet environments.

The full set is stored in a robust textile carry case for organised transport between sites.
