At the heart of the set is the 817 VDE Kraftform blade-holding handle, which accepts the six interchangeable VDE-insulated blades included. Each blade features Wera's Take it easy Tool Finder system, combining colour coding by drive profile with laser-engraved size markings. This makes it quick to grab the right blade without squinting at small text, particularly useful in low-light conditions or confined spaces.

All tools are individually tested at 10,000V in accordance with IEC 60900 — exceeding the required threshold for the approved 1,000V working voltage.
