At the heart of the set is the Safe-Torque A 2 wrench with a 1/4" hexagonal drive and a measuring range of 2–12 Nm. The slip-over release mechanism ensures the set torque can never be exceeded once reached, making it particularly well-suited to sensitive assemblies in automotive, bicycle maintenance, and electronics work. The fine 72-tooth ratchet mechanism allows a minimal return angle of just 5°, enabling use in confined spaces where a standard ratchet would struggle.

The Torque Lock function adds genuine versatility, allowing the tool to be used as a standard ratchet when high loosening moments or defined rotation angles are required — without needing to switch tools. Torque values are set and saved with audible and tactile confirmation at each scale value, giving the user confidence the wrench is correctly configured before use.
