Excellent clamps.
I bought a pair of these to help with dismantling and reassembling some chairs. They work well, and the ability to switch quickly between spreading and clamping is a real advantage. this design of clamp does not provide high pressure, but on the other hand the light weight is a plus when applying a number of clamps to a workpiece. the toggle releasing the pressure works well; the changeover knob (clamping/spreading) does not feel very positive and one wonders about the reliability of the concealed mechanism. I do hope the bessey reputation for quality will be borne out by a long service life. these are useful clamps, and i shall buy some more.
