This strimmer line is only effective on short grass. I attempted to use it on long grass that also had a few twigs hidden in it, and it broke continually. The whole spool had gone in approx 10 minutes. The heavy duty line works well.

Awful, did not perform anything like the previously bought B&D strimmer line. Wouldn't cut off and just unwound, long length of line cut my leg. The line seemed thinner than the previously bought spool and measuring with a Vernier tool seemed to confirm it. Returned and asked for refund which is pending.

No reflection on Tooled-Up, but these spools last for ten minutes at best, less if the wire hits any solid objects and breaks off. Black and Decker really need to re-engineer these items to use less of the wire up so quickly! It feeds out constantly and consequently wastes so much of the spool.

I recently purchased a black and decker GL7033, the wire on the spool went in one cut of my small lawn, at the time I thought the spool provided did not have a long length of wire. I purchased a new spool, that did not last the full length of the lawn. I have now got the latest spool from TOOLED-UP and again the wire just breaks off in 4 inch strips. It is proving to be a very expensive tool to use.

Q : Is the spool line 2mm ? Also what is the length of the spool in metres ?
A : Hi Daniel, the Black & Decker A6482 spool contains 6 metres of 2mm line.
Q : do you deliver
A : Yes, we are still delivering at the moment. At time of writing we have some packs of 1 in stock ready for despatch but if you wanted a pack of 12 we would have to get these in from our supplier first
Q : Is this the spool for the STB3620l ? It does state these are but accessories but not in the model numbers?
A : I can confirm that the A6482 is suitable for the STB3620l
