Black and Decker BCD383 18v Cordless Combi Drill
The BCD383 from Black and Decker is a versatile cordless drill which can tackle most projects around the home and garden. As part of the Black and Decker 18v POWERCONNECT battery platform, it shares battery compatibility with other tools so you can build a convenient cordless tool kit without having to start a colllection of surplus batteries and chargers too.
With two gears and a variable speed trigger, the drill provides excellent control whether you need high torque for driving fasteners or high speed for drilling clean holes. The 12 stage clutch allows screws to be driven consistently to a predetermined depth by selecting the appropriate torque level, and the hammer drilling mode provides additional percussive force for drilling into solid walls and masonry. For additional user convenience, the BCD383 features a bright LED worklight on the base of the tool, as well as a clip for storing a screwdriver bit.
Black and Decker are committed to making their tools more sustainable, and the housing of the BCD383 is made with 50% recyled materials to reduce the impact on the environment.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance.
