Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

Brilliant drill for drilling semi vitrified brick which my percussion drill would not touch. Useful for standard drilling with a chuck adaptor and fits in with my set of tools that all use B and D 18V batteries. Obviously the drill is not intended for major heavy duty jobs but great for normal jobs around the house.

I bought this to match my battery set. It's a bit smaller than I expected which turns out to be a good thing for me. Out of the box it happily drilled some 5cm deep 12mm holes in a solid concrete floor in no time. I need to use it a bit more before commenting on battery life. I bought an SDS to HEX bit adapter and now this sds drill will be my go-to drill & driver instead of my b & d 18v combi

This product carries a full 2 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables. In the unlikely event of a fault the item returned is subject to fair wear & tear and must not have been used beyond the scope of it's design.
Some manufacturers will offer a direct repair or replacement service (as applicable) which will often resolve your problem more quickly.
We will exchange or refund within the first 30 days if a manufacturers fault is found with this product. Thereafter a repair or exchange as appropriate will be offered.
