Black and Decker BCD900 18v Cordless SDS Plus Hammer Drill
The Black & Decker BCD900 is a cordless SDS Plus rotary hammer drill built on the versatile Black & Decker 18v lithium ion battery platform, making it compatible with a wide range of Black & Decker 18v tools for the home and garden.
The three-mode selector switch allows you to choose between rotary only, rotary hammer, and hammer only modes, making it suitable for drilling into concrete, masonry, steel, and wood, as well as light-duty chiselling and demolition work. The SDS Plus chuck accepts all standard SDS Plus drill bits and chisels, and a chuck adaptor enables use with straight shank accessories in rotary mode.
An ergonomic, lightweight, and vibration-resistant body, combined with an adjustable side handle, depth stop, and integrated LED worklight, ensures comfortable and accurate use across a wide range of applications. The BCD900 is available as a bare tool or in kit configurations with 1 or 2 batteries in 2ah or 4ah capacities, with or without a carry case.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
