Black and Decker CLM3820L 36v Cordless Rotary Lawnmower 380mm

Have lawns at 3 levels which means having to lift petrol lawnmower around. Decided to get battery mower to use on the upper lawn and as I already had the B&D 36v strimmer the bare cordless mower was the obvious choice. Really impressed with its cutting ability and ease of mowing. Not tried it on long grass but have petrol mower in reserve. Only negative is it does not come with the quick release lever to split the handle for storage. The image on both the Tooled-Up and B&D websites does not match the lawnmower that you get. Reviews on the B&D also comment about quick release levers being missing ? B&D revised the model but not the picture ?

Good entry level machine, grass box was a bit of a pain to put together, could do with quick release in the middle of handle so it will fold more easily. Fairly light and easy to use

I bought this rechargeable lawnmower for my In Laws, as their petrol mower had given up after 35 years service. I have had a similar mower for 4 years. The B&D mower is light enough for them to manoeuvre and powerful enough to cut their substantial lawn with the two batteries supplied. The grassbox isn't that large, so you end up with frequent trips to the compost heap, but it does have a full indicator so you can see when you need to empty it. They are very pleased with the mower.

An excellent lawn mower which liberates the user from the hassle of an electric lead. Wish I’d bought one years ago. My lawn is medium size and 2 batteries are ample to do the job. Tooled-Up supplied the lawn mower at a very competitive price and delivered within a couple of days of placing the order. I would recommend the company and the Black and Decker mower.

I already have the hedge trimmer and strimmer in the same Black & Decker range , they both seem to be perform well. As a consequence I have two batteries and the chargers and it made sense to replace my tired old corded mower with this model. I have only used it a couple of times but it is fine and a bit easier and quicker than messing around with leads. I do need both batteries for my lawns (1 medium & 1 small).

Had a hover mower before this and it is a lot quieter and has a good width cut when mowing. do not need to fake up cut grass as it has a grass bag attached. Very pleased with mower so far.

The mower is fairly easy to assemble for a non techie person, like myself. It is really easy to use and very quiet. The batteries don't take long to charge and together with the charger take up little space in my garage. Easy to change the height settings - one lever adjusts all four wheels at once. Would definitely recommend this product.

Brilliant Lawnmower, I have 3 lawns total metres approx 170. One battery charge completed all 3 lawns with power to spare. Lawnmower was delivered well packed and was a fast delivery, lawnmower is powerful and easy to use, and cuts excellent with a cut height lever which is easy to adjust. Besides giving 5 stars for Value,Features,Perormance and Quality I give 5 stars also to Tooled up for a smooth transaction and rapid delivery, I am now ordering a B&D trimmer which fits my existing charger and batteries from Tooled up. Brilliant company many thanks.

I'm happy with the lawn mower, it does the job, cuts the grass to different lengths, and is on wheels, so very easy to move, and is not heavy, and very easy to put together, and the battery lasted a long time, long enough to cut my grass, I only used one battery, and it comes with two battery's, so really good,

Easy to use, fairly lightweight, cuts well, wish I’d brought the larger more powerful as long and wet grass slow it down and use up the battery quickly

Product performs exactly as described and cuts both my medium sized lawns on one charge. Delivered promptly and fairly easy to assemble although no instructions were included.

Have only used this once so far but it is world’s apart from my old petrol mower. Not too hard to assemble (tho the grass collector took me a while to figure out!). It is really light and easy to push. I managed my large back lawn on one battery with charge to spare. I did find the height adjuster a bit stiff but hopefully that will become easier with use or maybe it’s just a knack. All in all I am very pleased with this mower and am actually looking forward to mowing the grass this year!

Through good engineering of the motor B&D have squeezed every ounce of power out of 36v as opposed to a 220v corded. We have a fairly big lawn and not having to rearrange cables all of the time makes mowing so much easier and cuts the mowing time by at least a third. Having two batteries is brilliant, but I imagine that is what put up the price as it is quite expensive. I have kept my corded mower, but other than for damp grass I cannot see me using it again. Tooled-up's speed of delivery was excellent and I have bought another 36v B&D garden tool from them already.

I bought this for my mother who has a sizeable rural garden. She loves the product. Lightweight but powerful enough to do what she needs. Battery is easy to attach and remove. Does the garden on one charge.

This cordless lawnmower is pretty cool. Way less palava than using extension leads. And it's plenty powerful enough. Cheap shipping too
