Only had this strimmer a week so not used it a lot yet, but so far it seems a good buy. The power of the 900w motor is very evident at times almost pulling the machine when it hits long grass. The standard line supplied is stronger than other strimmers I have used and does not break nearly as much which is great. I have not tried the heavy duty line and may never need it as the standard line seems to be more than enough for normal grass.

Excellent performance. Lightweight and easy to use. Definitely recommended. Only negative point is the lack of 'hooks' to wrap the power cable around that made life far less tangled on my old black and decker gl380 model and I had to make one using an old hook jubilee clipped to the lower tube and the wrapping the cable between that and the handle. Personally I dislike the colour too - what was wrong with green?

This is perfect for me as I never seem to be able to rewind the ordinary ones, causes an irate husband! You just slot in another line for the heavy duty, job done. Love it.

So far, so good. Just received the strimmer and used only once but it seems robust and the heavy duty line made short work of our long grass and nettles. Pleased so far
