Q : As the battery cannot be replaced what is the overall expected lifetime of the battery? In other words how long is the life of the vacuum cleaner if used a few times a week.
A : It's hard to say really - there's no specification supplied for this, but all batteries deteriorate over time (at least they do with current technology). Usually this is a gradual process, rather than a sudden death, and just means you will get less runtime as it gets older. The lithium ion batteries used in newer generation tools like the PD1420LP are much more user friendly than previous types and should last you longer, but you can also help to prolong their lifetime if you look after them (for example always store them in a dry environment indoors rather than a shed or garage)
Q : Is it possible to buy a replacement battery for this dustbuster? Both myself & my daughter have had older models of dustbuster & the batteries have packed up & replacements have not been available.
A : Unfortunately, this dustbuster features an integrated battery that is not replaceable.

This product carries a full 2 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables.
