Good Product description and delivery was very prompt. Simple to follow build instructions, very pleased with performance. All round excellent performance.
Little heavy to hold the pole, but I let the machine do all the work by resting the machine on the branch before starting the machine. I cut several branches in minutes. Very easy to assemble and use
Cut down a 30 foot Hawthorne Tree. Never missed a beat although it does need a new chain now. Does feel a little heavy with prolonged use. Very pleased with my purchase and would recommend.
Early days but seems like a good piece of kit.
Excellent tool Good price Fast Delivery In my view Battery powered things overrated unless portability essential
Seems a very nice product. Reasonably easy to assemble the saw. Have tested it and it worked well, but not used it to do any real work yet.
Very fast shipping from Tooled Up. Best internet price. Very easy to use pruner. Easy to assemble chain. Chain as it is new must be soaked in chainsaw oil for one hour before use. At full extension may feel a bit heavy after using for a while. Very happy with purchase.
This is my first pole saw, I found it easy to put the chain on and fill with oil. I bought It to cut some high branches, but used it initially for assisting in reducing a laurel hedge by a foot. It cut through the thicker stems with no problem, the build is good the main shaft is a fibre construction which makes it light. I’m very pleased with the product only down side is that the motor is at the cutting end which makes it a bit heavy. I got used to it after a while and rested in between cuts clearing branch debris to make a safe working area
Excellent product to work with. Care is needed when you work at the full extension length of the saw, as it can swing a bit. If you take time and let the saw do the work it is very effective.
This is an incredibly great product. Really well built and performs great too. Cuts tree branches effortlessly and the long reach is a god send. Two negative points would be it's quite top heavy so you would need reasonable strength to use it and it does not come with oil so you can't use it straight out of the box. Would make complete sense if manufactures sold it complete with oil. Overall excellent and would recommend
Great piece of equipment, does the job as I excepted
Worked really well. Cut down seven trees and performed exceptionally well in doing job
Used only once did the job very well exactly what I wanted
Precisely what I expected. Well made, robust, yet easy to use.
A good quality product, very powerful, doing the job easily. having used it the 2nd time since it arrived, and very happy with it.
It does everything I expected, it is quite easy to handle though I think you need to be at least of average strength to use it when fully extended, as it can be a little tiring on the arms It was good value and I am very pleased with it. A nicely produced tool.
Competitively priced piece of kit, easily assembled, just make sure the chain is correctly fitted and lubricated. Only negative is that it's very heavy and unwieldy on maximum extension.
Brilliant product fot the price. Does the job - can’t fault it - powerful piece of kit
Brilliant tool great price Delivery was quick and helpful
Just the job good reach allowing me to prune the harder to reach branches
It does exactly as you'd expect. The reach is good, the weight is manageable. It cuts with ease & I'm very pleased with the product
Very useful piece of equipment for the garden
Weather has been all wrong to operate electrical equipment outdoors but product looks and feels good value for money.
Easy to use, cuts through branches with ease. Doesn't come with chain oil so make sure have some in if you are itching to start pruning.
A very robust tool with the usual quality associated with Black and Decker.
Great item, great price. Needed to buy chainsaw oil in addition but spot on for my tree cutting needs.
Best tool I have purchased in ages . I certainly gave it some punishment and it didn't disappoint !!!.
Product was delivered promptly and am delighted with the goods
I am pleased with the product, which reaches high up branches and cuts easily through thick ones lower down. The machine itself is quite heavy and needs a strong person to use it. Overall, a good buy.
Instructions precise re assembly 10 points. Need to have chain saw oil (not provided) soak chain in 1 hour suggest you put chain in plastic jug then pour oil over remove then use jug to fill the little oil tank that lubricates the chain pouring rest back into bottle get from b&q maybe order with product is best. Once assembled cuts with ease; pole extends 9ft and cuts fairly thick 6 inch branches. Need to let it take its time, don't force. Cuts up debris on ground, be careful that you don't cut cable or get earth in mechanism. Easy to clean though remove cover with spanner provided / clean before you put away as debris builds up inside which could cause problems if you don't. Also remember to check chain tension after use ready for next time / make adjustment (quite easy). V good product, saved me £300 at least already. Neighbours will be queueing up to borrow.
Pretty good once i'd got the chain on the right way round (instructions could be clearer!). Does weigh a bit at full extension, but cutting action is quick and clean.
Customer Questions & Answers
Q : Is this able to be plugged in to normal household plug socket
A : Hi Linda, yes - anything that says Voltage: 240v in the top right corner is a corded electric tool which can be plugged into a standard household power socket
Q : hi, would this cut through a conifer trunk say 20cm thick?
A : Hi Matt, the PS7525 has a 25cm of cut capacity so anything within this range shouldn't be a problem
Q : Does the chain saw come ready assembled or do I need to assemble the cutting head myself?
A : The bar and chain are packed separately in the box and need to be installed before it is ready for use
Q : can you buy extension pieces to make it longer
A : There are no extensions available for this tool currently
Q : Hi, what oil is recommended for this tool. And how long warranty? Thanks
A : Hi Stephen, the PS7525 has a two year (domestic) warranty. Any type of chain oil will be suitable - just type in chainsaw chain oil into the search bar to see the ones we sell.
Q : What is the shortest lenth you can have
A : Hi Neil, Black & Decker don't supply the dimensions so it's a bit hard to say exactly without opening a new one up but you can get a good idea by looking at the position of the collar about half way up the shaft on the images of it in use - this is where the extension comes out from so it's a fair size even before extending it.
