Important Information about Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaners
The tank capacity quoted is usually quoted for dry vacuuming. Capacity when being used for wet vacuuming will be significantly less than when dry vacuuming. Always read both the wet and dry capacities separately if they are published so as to understand what the difference is.
If in doubt you will always need a larger capacity vacuum than the capacity shown in the title as this will be quoted for dry vacuuming only.
The reason for this reduced capacity is that the water level has to be kept well below the motor and thus the capacity is reduced.

Ideal for my purpose, to keep a conservatory used as a greenhouse tidy. Fiitted neatly on the walll next to a power source so can keep it charged up ready for use. Tooled-up.com did a very good job in keeping me updated about delivery dates too.

Purchased to replace the hand-held part of a full sized unit it is used mainly for removing fluff from the tumble- dryer. It is conveniently attached to the wall, permanently plugged in which I really like, ready for use- for light spills as well of course. Defluffing the green foam filter requires some care.

Q : Is it necessary to keep the foam filter in the dustbuster if it is only to be used on dry and not wet surfaces? It looks very awkward to take it out and replace it.
A : Hi Paula, I'm not sure to be honest but I would go by whatever the manual suggests - alternatively Black & Decker have a technical support department who can be contacted via their UK website and they should be able to provide more info on the matter
