I bought my first baby boa many years ago for replacing an engine oil filter. They are very good at distributing torque evenly around larger diameter objects without applying any crushing action or breaking seals. Many other variable wrenches are often of the type that only have a few points of contact which will usually slip or else damage the object. The boa is also a good choice for tightening plastic hose accessories or for people who suffer from arthritis and can't otherwise open jam jar lids. Not much use though on objects less than about 30mm diameter.

I bought this item to try to remove the glass cover for the light bulb in my electric oven. I had tried everything else and failed. This removed the cover at the first attempt. A most useful tool to have about the house.

Bought this item to remove a stubborn chrome tap cover to access valve and it worked perfectly. why have a never heard of this tool before? Every home should have one!

This is cheap, so was not expecting that much from the product. But very pleasently surprised, with just how good it is and how much force you can put into it. Should say also very quick delivery.

Cheap, usefull and of a deacent build quality. For all your tightening and loosing needs. Personally I bought it for paintball gun maintanence. For this it works very well. Would have been nice If there was a better way of securing the belt when incerted into the grip. Great buy and highly recommended
