Bosch 18 Piece PointTeq HSS Drill Bit Set

The Bosch 18 Piece PointTeQ HSS Drill Bit Set is a metal drilling set designed for fast, accurate drilling of clearance and pilot holes. The PointTeQ tip is self-centring, so drilling starts are quick and easy without the bit wandering. The increased drilling rate generates less heat and wear, and the tip stays sharp for continued durability.

These HSS twist drill bits suit alloyed and non-alloyed steel, non-ferrous metals, cast steel, cast iron and plastics. The cylindrical shank (equal to the drill bit diameter) is intended for use in drill stands and drill drivers, and is compatible with three-jaw drill chucks.

Each bit has a highly elastic body, giving a low risk of breakage, especially for bits below 6 mm in diameter. The black-oxide coated flute provides fast chip removal. Manufactured to DIN 338, the bits are Type N (flute angle) with a 135-degree tip. The set covers 18 bits from 1 mm to 10 mm and comes in a ToughBox.
