The AdvancedGrind 18 is the first cordless angle grinder from the Bosch Green range. This powerful 18v tool offers all the flexibility of a cordless grinder with a reassuringly high level of user protection: equipped with a soft start for smooth startups, the grinder has integrated restart protection which prevents it from automatically restarting after a power interruption, and it has a fast acting brake which brings spinning accessories to a rapid halt as soon as the trigger is released. The guard can be adjusted without need for additional tools, allowing quick and easy repositioning when required.

The AdvancedGrind 18 has variable speed control, enabling the operator to select the optimum setting for a variety of materials and accessories. Additionally it is equipped with a Syneon chip - the intelligent electronic energy management system that Bosch has begun introducing to many of their cordless garden and power tool ranges. This gives DIYers optimum power and maximum runtime at all times for every project. Whats more, the AdvancedGrind 18 runs on full power until the battery is empty - right up to the last second of cutting or grinding.

The AdvancedGrind 18 is part of the "Power 4 All" battery system which comprises DIY and garden tools. Twenty different power tools, from grass trimmers to rotary hammer drills, can currently be operated using the same 18 volt lithium ion battery. This eliminates redundant batteries and chargers, and saves DIYers money too.
