Bosch AHS 50-16 Hedge Trimmer 500mm

As a professional gardener i use a lot of power tools. The best money i ever spent was on a bosch pro 6000 so i had no hesitation to look for a bosch when one of my customers needed a new trimmer. i was amazed to find a bosch in this price range, and it is too early to tell how well spent the money was. Generally you get what you pay for in power tools this trimmer is light, and the blade length as long as most people are likely to need. It can cut larger branches than many trimmers though i would be happier with a little more power in the motor to tackle 14mm branches. if you have a beech hedge or branches equally thick or tough to cut, i'd go for a more powerful motor, but for privet, shrubs or conifers this looks like great value. it was like a hot knife through butter on first use, it remains to be seen how long the blade will stay sharp on a low cost trimmer but my own bosch has lasted years cutting all kinds of hedges for the price i would expect this to be a good buy most people with small gardens and not too much hedge to cut
