Bosch AHS 55-20 LI 18v Cordless Hedge Trimmer 550mm
Ensuring clean cuts through hedges and shrubs, the blade is fitted with laser-cut, diamond ground teeth which taper towards the end. The front teeth are protected from damage by a blade tip protector and supplement the trimmer with an additional sawing function that is ideal for removing larger branches and similar obstructions. The blade tip protector enables operation along walls and paths where the teeth might otherwise come into contact with brickwork or concrete. The AHS 55-20 LI can be manoeuvred easily thanks to it's light weight and ergonomic construction, minimizing strain on arms and shoulders, while a see-through guard and softgrip handle allow optimum positioning and safe operation without compromising visibility of the work area.
Showcasing a number of Bosch innovations that help to maxmise efficiency in garden maintenance tasks, the AHS 55-20 LI is well equipped for tackling tough flora that would otherwise hinder the hedge cutter - Quick-Cut technology ensures a rapid workrate through twigs and branches, while the tool reacts to stubborn obstacles by adjusting the direction of the cutting blades until the obstruction is severed. The Syneon chip monitors and regulates energy use to ensure that battery charge is conserved when the machine is running idle and that optimum power is delivered as the load condition increases.
A PowerForAll machine, the AHS 55-20 LI is compatible with the battery systems of any other Bosch PowerForAll 18v lithium ion power tool.
