Bosch Expert Wood Forstner Drill Bit
The Bosch Expert Wood Forstner Drill Bit is built for accurate, splinter-free blind holes in hardwood and softwood. Forstner bits are ideal for creating larger holes in wood, but not every one leaves clean, smooth-walled results. The Expert Wood is designed to deliver them, and it lasts up to 3x longer than a Bosch standard Forstner Drill Bit.
Its wave-shaped cutting edge uses Bosch Tip Technology. The wavy rim with sharp serrations combines the advantages of the continuous rim and the saw tooth rim, cutting cleanly without overheating. It suits door hinge recesses, counterbores and many other woodworking jobs.
A specially designed centring tip helps you start holes accurately, and the 3-flat shank grips securely in the chuck of rotary drills and drivers. Available in sizes from 10mm to 50mm.
Features and Benefits:
• Long life drilling in wood
• Bosch Tip Technology ensures a long product life and fast drilling progress
• Wavy cutting rim with sharp serrations ensures clean cuts and reduces heat build-up
• Centring tip starts holes accurately, for hundreds of clean holes
• 3-flat shank prevents slipping in the chuck of rotary drills and drivers
