Bosch Genuine BLUE GAL 18V6-80 6 port 18v Bosch Cordless Battery Charger
The Bosch GAL 18V6-80 is a 6-port multi-bay charger designed to keep professional 18V battery packs topped up and ready throughout a working day or overnight.
Using a two-cycle charging process, the charger works through up to six batteries sequentially in the first cycle, bringing each to 80% charge before the second cycle completes all packs to 100%. This intelligent approach ensures a continuous rotation of charged batteries, minimising downtime on site. Each of the six interfaces features a 5-LED charge-level indicator, so progress is always clearly visible at a glance.
A Priority Start Button on each interface allows you to interrupt the current cycle and begin charging a selected battery immediately — ideal for situations where one pack is urgently needed. The charger is compatible with all Bosch Professional 18V System batteries, making it a practical central charging solution for teams running multiple tools across a single platform.
Suited to contractors in construction, electrical, plumbing, joinery, and metal fabrication trades, the GAL 18V6-80 is equally effective as an overnight charging station or a daytime hub on busy sites. Integrated cable management pegs on the handle keep the mains lead neatly stored for tidy transportation between locations.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
