Bought this to replace my old one as my brushes had gone. Everything at the moment seems great as you would expect from Bosch.

Bought a new bare unit for one that was pinched, in retrospect probably better value to buy complete new kit. By the time I buy a new battery the total cost would be more than a new kit. So if this has happened to you, weigh up the difference and my recommendation would be go for the whole kit, then you have spares of everything.

I've had a Bosch GSR12V-15 FC for a couple of years and the electronics module failed, as a MOSFET was damaged. I noticed this model has different electronics, and is brushless, so I thought I get a naked drill to replace it, as I had all the batteries and chucks from the other model. As it happened I was able to repair the old one using UK sourced genuine parts, and I now have two. The newer model is more powerful, and its compact size makes it ideal for kitchen and furniture fixing. The standard 2.0AH batteries last long enough, so you can charge one whilst you run the one down in the drill, and if you get the cloth bag, it's an easy lug around. Definitely worth paying the extra for this newer more powerful model, but if you've got Makita or Milwaukee gear you might want to look at their models... I have other 10.8/12V Bosch stuff, so it was extra batteries & chucks that I already had which pushed me towards this purchase. As expected "Tooled-Up" had the drill at the right price, processed my order promptly, and used AMAZON as a courier, so tracking and delivery was super quick.

quite an expensive little drill BUT for getting in tight spaces and over top of kitchen units its fantastic and the different attachments make it a must for a kitchen fitter usual Bosch build quality and the brushless model gives longer life

A : Hi Frank, this tool isn't currently available in a complete kit form with batteries and charger but we do sell these separately - for example the charger on product ID 21026057 and the 3ah battery on product ID 21007114 would do the job. ETA for delivery is provided on each product next to the price on the website (where there are more than one versions of the same product available, you will just need to choose the version you want to be able to see this)

This product carries a full 3 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables. In the unlikely event of a fault the item returned is subject to fair wear & tear and must not have been used beyond the scope of it's design. Please note that cordless products will normally have a shorter warranty of just 1 Year for the battery and or charger supplied.
Some manufacturers will offer a direct repair or replacement service (as applicable) which will often resolve your problem more quickly.
We will exchange or refund within the first 30 days if a manufacturers fault is found with this product. Thereafter a repair or exchange as appropriate will be offered.
After the first year any warranty claims should be resolved with the manufacturer directly. To claim the full warranty a registration form may need to be completed - please check the paperwork enclosed with this product when purchased.
