Bosch GSR 18 V-85 C 18v Cordless Connect Ready Drill Driver

The GSR 18V-85 C is a drill driver which is suitable for drilling holes up to 82mm in wood and 13mm in steel. The machine has a number of features to increase user protection and tool lifetime; firstly it has a Kickback Control system which shuts off power if it detects binding conditions and thereby helps to safeguard against the aggressive high torque reactionary forces that can occur if an accessory like a hole saw or drill bit jams in the workpiece. An auxiliary handle is also provided, which enables the operator to keep two hands on the drill for maximum control. To keep the motor performing at its best, the GSR 18V-85 C employs a Bosch EMP (Electronic Motor Protection) system which protects it against overload. The batteries are also protected against the damaging effects of overload, overheating and deep disacharge by Bosch ECP (Electronic Cell Protection).

To further enhance the GSR 18V-85 C's performance, the user has the option to fit a Bosch GCY 30-4 Bluetooth module (available separately). The machine is supplied connection ready, so the module simply has to be inserted to be able to access additional control functions (such as the ability to adjust the kickback control sensitivity) and inventory management facilities (when used with the Bosch TrackMyTools system).
