Record Block Planes

Record Block Planes at Tooled-Up.com

Tooled-Up.com stocks Record Block Planes for trimming, shaping and fine finishing in timber and man-made materials. The Record 060 1/2 Block Plane is a specialist low-angle plane with its cutter set at a shallow 12.5 degrees. That makes it well suited to plastic laminates, composite boards and end grain, where a standard block plane can struggle to leave a clean cut.

Its adjustable mouth can be opened for coarse stock removal or closed up for fine finishing, and the adjustable depth of cut gives you control over shaving thickness. The compact body is small enough to use one-handed. Browse the Record selection to compare it with the Record Irwin 091/2 Block Plane, another option for general-purpose trimming.
