DeWalt DCD460 54v XR Cordless Brushless Flexvolt Heavy Duty Angle Drill

Designed for drilling in between studs and joists, the DCD460 is a heavy duty angle drill that supplies up to 140 Nm of torque, with a maximum drilling capacity of 152mm. To ensure operator safety and control the machine has a adjustable bail handle and two position side handle, along with an E-Clutch to safeguard against high torque reactionary forces in the event of a jam. Unlike most safety clutches, the E-Clutch does not completely disengage the motor when it is activated; instead it instantly reduces the speed to a mangeable level, enabling the operator to regain control and continue drilling with minimal interruption.

The DCD460 has two gears which give a choice of operating speeds between 0 to 300 RPM or 0 to 1250 RPM, depending on whether high torque or high speed is required. The gears are encased in a durable metal housing for increased lifetime and reliability in jobsite environments. The drill is fitted with a 13mm keyed chuck for maximum grip and stability under load, and a holder is provided on the handle to store the chuck key on the machine. Additionally integrated into the handle, an LED worklight illuminates the work area for increased visibility in poor lighting.

Part of the Flexvolt series which has closed the gap between corded and cordless power tools, the DCD460 is a 54v machine with a brushless motor which helps to ensure maximum runtime as well as powerful performance.
